Spam management is an action of
white listing and blacklisting the email sender. To do so, first, you need to
tap on the "Spam Controls" link located on the lower right side of
your inbox screen. Now under "Mail and Spam Controls" box, tap on the
"Customer Sender" list link and choose the "Allow email from
..." alternative. Enter the sender's name here, and then tap on the
“add" and "save.".
AOL mail latest version will allow you to simply
add the name of the sender to your Contacts list. AOL will then recognize this
sender as an authentic person with whom you can communicate easily. Tap on the
sender's email address and Select "Add Contact." from a drop-down
option from the menu.
In the case of mass emailing, AOL
only supports the organizations and individuals who send the unsolicited bulk
emails, otherwise, they blacklist them automatically. Nonetheless, if you
didn’t want these emails, you can notify AOL support or blacklist them from
your end. To do so, explore the "Spam Controls" option to blacklist
someone. Thereafter tap on the “Block email from ..." and enter the name
of the sender. Tap "add" and "save." and tap on the
"Report Spam" or "Notify AOL" link right there on the offensive
email.
